On 3 March, Club Surgical Centre proudly marked World Hearing Day, an important global initiative dedicated to raising awareness about hearing health and the impact it has on overall well-being.

The day served as a meaningful reminder of the role early detection, education, and ongoing care play in maintaining healthy hearing. Patients and visitors had the opportunity to engage in a welcoming and informative environment, designed to highlight the importance of looking after one of our most vital senses.

A special word of appreciation goes to Loandra Blanché, Audiologist, whose effort and attention to detail ensured the event was thoughtfully organised and beautifully set up. Gratitude is also extended to Dr Nina du Toit and Nissius du Plessis for their presence and support, contributing to the success of the day.

It was especially encouraging to see both patients and children enjoying the experience, reinforcing how impactful community-focused healthcare initiatives can be. Events like these not only educate but also create a sense of connection and care, which lies at the heart of Club Surgical Centre’s approach.

World Hearing Day serves as a reminder that hearing health should never be overlooked. Through continued awareness and support, we can help ensure better outcomes and improved quality of life for all.
